The expander is the machine which transforms ExpandOS from its compact, space-saving storage form into highly-efficient packaging.

The expander is a simple and compact construction, and requires little energy and maintenance.
In the machine, high-performance ExpandOS prisms are formed from pre-punched sheets of cardboard.
Via a chute, these can be placed directly into boxes. The packaged material is embedded between
the prisms, where it is protected against breakage.
The space required for the expander is less than 1 m2.
